Freeze protection of pipelines and vessels

The capillary thermostat heatTHERM-AT can be used to control electrical heating systems for freeze protection of pipelines and vessels. The thermostat controls the electrical heating system according to the ambient temperature.

The heatTHERM-AT is a temperature monitor (TW). When the temperature of the sensing element falls below the setting point, the micro switch trips the transmission mechanism and the power circuit closes. At the same time, the signal circuit is opened. If the temperature of the sensing element exceeds the set value (switching differential), the microswitch trips, the power circuit is opened. The signal circuit, in turn, closes.
