The RoofMate De-icing Kit is designed specifically for residential houses to prevent the formation of dangerous snow and ice build-up on roofs, within gutters and downpipes.

During winter when the temperature drops and snowfall increases, roofs, gutters and downpipes are at risk of damage from ice and snow. The snow melts and can refreeze in gutters and downpipes overloading them or making dangerous icicles.

The RoofMate Kit controls snow build-up and freezing by creating a clear drainage path for the snow melt water to flow away. The self-regulating cable regulates its power output depending on the ambient temperature and provides an energy efficient solution, increasing its heat output when needed the most.

Because of its self-regulating characteristics it will not overheat even when the cable is overlapped. Each cable consists of a durable PVC inner insulation and a continuous ground braid. This guarantees maximum safety and reliability.

The installation of RoofMate heating kit is quick and simple and requires no special skills or tools, because the cable can be overlapped in straight or spiral installations. RoofMate illuminated plug helps easily see that your cable is functioning. Because of its parallel construction the self-regulating heating cable can be fitted on site to exact length without any complicated design calculations.
